Is anti-malaria medication recommended for tourists who come only for a day? I have read numerous medical journal articles of malaria at the DMZ area including 40km south of DMZ. I have plans to come in November but do not react well to such medication and was wondering whether there are still lots of mosquitoes at that time. What are other good precautions aside from DEET in repellent and covering up?
